I was reading the stats wrong. 7,404 hits! Whoo! 133 today alone. I was thinking that no one read this thing ever, not even my family. It is nice to know there is someone (or a few someones) out there who are at least semi-interested in my life. Thanks! And happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
2/14: got a short story critiqued March 4, 2008
First up, I got a short story I wrote critiqued. Ouch! Well, I hope that it will make me a better writer. When I write, I write from my own point of view so it comes off more as a memoir than a short story. I didn’t know this, so thanks to all who pointed it out. The Lunch Date is a story I wrote with the characters physically based on my real grandparents but no one really had Alzheimer’s. You may think it sucks, and that’s ok. I am not trying to be a published writer, just trying to improve. Feel free to critique if you would like.
