We had family fun night at my brother’s house and we played Scene It. I am not really a movie person, but it was so fun. We were cracking up. That is one long game though. Brian and Tina ended up tying I believe.

Considering that on a normal Friday night I would probably be out spending a bunch of money with my friends but that on this particular Friday night, I am sitting all alone by my computer (nerd alert!), I have decided to spend some money on clothing and shoes. I had to convert my shoe size so I used an online ruler to determine the inches. I didn’t end up buying the shoes because I didn’t measure correctly. Bummer.
Seriously. It is playing random music (Kanye, Ryan Montbleau) when I don’t have Brian’s ITunes up or any websites open. I cannot figure it out. hahaha OMG- what if it is Michael Jackson???

How weird is this:
I had to swallow a gigantic pill which is actually a tiny camera (with a flash and all!)
The camera pill takes pictures of my small intestine.
The pictures are sent to the device I am wearing.
Hopeful outcome: the doctor will find out why I am anemic and I can sort it out instead of doing these ridiculous tests.
Anyway, it is sort of fascinating.

In related news, I am so hungry. You have to fast for a day before doing this test and you can only have clear liquids during the duration of the test (8-9 hours, but you can go home.) However, not eating really is making the pants fit better today. I know that is not a very healthy thing to say.

As you may know, I had the EnV (eNv, ENV- I know there are random capitals in there somewhere) which absolutely sucked. I went through four of them in the past year because they would just stop charging. As I do not have a home phone, you can imagine my delight. So I went to Verizon today and they tried to make me buy a phone but I thought that was beat since I just got this one in Sept. AND it stopped working. So I called verizon wireless customer service from the store and they reset my contract so I got the Voyager and didn’t have to pay the full price. I also learned that you get a discount if you are a teacher, so that was fabulous. So I am trying out my new phone, but I don’t have anyone’s number because they transfer the numbers from the charging portal and mine was busted. So if you call me, leave your number!

Time: one hour and fifteen minutes of a meeting, fifteen minutes of sheer terror and fear of judgment
For those of you who don’t know (which was me yesterday), Qwizard is this really cool tool that you can use in your classroom. It is interactive and can be programmed with all sorts of fun stuff. We learned about it at a staff meeting and they needed volunteers to try it out. The moderator acted like the teacher and a bunch of people volunteered to be students. The woman next to me (who is a lovely person and incredibly outgoing) volunteered, then panicked and threw the remote at me. I am quite shy and not an attention seeker in the least, so I was horrified. However, I will say that I did quite well, even in front of all those people. Consider that the questions were similar to, “Here are five fish. One fish is jumping. Look at the picture. Tell what number fish is jumping.”
Wow- I have no musical talent at all. Both of these games were fun, but I wouldn’t want to own them. My brother in law and sister in law were really good, but us, not so much.
I was reading the stats wrong. 7,404 hits! Whoo! 133 today alone. I was thinking that no one read this thing ever, not even my family. It is nice to know there is someone (or a few someones) out there who are at least semi-interested in my life. Thanks! And happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
