Brian got us tickets- so psyched. Bruins! Bruins! Bruins! I am assuming that mentioning the Bruins will get a decent amount of views here on my small blog, so welcome. I posted once last year with something about the Red Sox and it is my highest viewed post to date, I believe.
FYI: this is me when I was little and had a boy’s haircut (like Kate’s hahahahaha.) I have always admired bears.
Time: about fifteen minutes
It was fascinating to see this piece of history. My class wasn’t super interested (I believe this was because I postponed- NOT CANCELLED, JUST POSTPONED- recess so we could watch it.) Some of them were interested, but some were not at all. I was interested though President Obama and I do not share many of the same views. I think that the US needed a change and, though I am not confident in President Obama’s ability to lead our nation, I am hoping to be proven wrong. Either way, our president is now President Obama and I will support him as a person who is proud to be an American.

I had a brief stint in Nantucket, but haven’t been back since because it ended badly. I had always wanted to see what it looks like at Christmas, but never went back (its been about eight years.) So instead of giving each other gifts, Brian and I decided to go to Nantucket for the day. It was awesome. We walked to my old house, went to the Rose and Crown and Brotherhood of Theives, saw the Christmas decorations, and just had a lovely day. We took the 9:15 ferry there and the 5:30 back. It was nice to go and have a happy day to cancel out the bad memories I had of leaving.

I am not really a person that you would imagine to find at a car show. Neither is Kate, but she was trying to sell her Mustang, so I agreed to accompany her. I had low expectations, but it was really fun. We watched drag races, ate carnival food, and drank slushes. All in all, a good day. AND there was an accident, but thankfully everyone was okay. My heart jumped out of my throat. And she did not end up selling her car. Please note that this is a picture I found online, not one I took. FYI: the fastest car went 199 miles an hour and finished the course in 7 seconds!
I’ve only been back a few days, but they have been super busy. This was the first day that I had time to think. Spain was like a dream for me. I wish that Brian would come with me and we could go for a year. Unfortunately, it can’t happen.
I didn’t even know we played it here. (On TV. I know we play soccer in the US!)
