Some things you should know about me: I am a great friend, love beer, kayaking, jogging, skiing, and reading. I am terrified of the dark and I believe in ghosts (remind me to tell you about the time my apartment, where a woman was murdered about a decade earlier, called 911…). I would spend every last dime on traveling- I have a great need to see the world. I have insomnia and I love to drink coffee- this may be related. I love my family. Basically, I am a fairly average person and that is why this experiment is important to me. I want to challenge myself to get out of my comfort zone. Cheers!
Sandy I happen to stumble over your blog to read that you had learned how to jumprope backwards. What go you motivated to do this. I am a master jump roper who has spent my last 25 years perfecting sport and dance movement jumping backwards.
I am really interested in your learning process!!!
So my year is officially over. I am now 31. I have done more than one new thing each day (some days have bonus things) but I fulfilled my goal of at least one for 365 continuous days. However I cannot say goodbye to my blog. I will continue to update, just not every day. Things you can look forward to:
-ogoing
-teeth whitening
-skydiving
-reading 52 books (see Reading is Fun! page)
-going to Iceland
With many thanks, I look forward to continuing to blog. I am open to suggestions for new things, too. Thanks a million!
-Sandy
Update: I just checked and I have 390 posts. Since a few of those are updates, I would estimate I did 385 new things over the past year.
