I am in two weddings this year (yay to Mel and Casey and also to Laurie and Shawn), and after a horrifying dress measurement fiasco (which was wrong but I am still traumatized) I have decided to kick my butt into shape. I want to feel strong. And I also want to be able to wear a bathing suit without shame and not ruin anyone’s wedding pictures. So I began running again yesterday (which I love) and I decided to switch it up a bit because I have never in my life had toned arms or abs.
Luckily Comcast On Demand has a bunch of workout videos you can do for free. I had heard a lot of things about the 30 Day Shred on a fitness board I frequent so I decided to give it a try. Ouch. Now, I am in horrendous shape at the moment so it completely kicked my butt. I am sweating profusely but I feel amazing. Between running and doing this shred thing, I hope to tone up significantly in the next two months.
