One of the things I am trying to do is to get in better shape. I want to be able to run for miles because once I get going, I really love running. Please note that when I say running I really mean jogging but whatever. The hardest thing for me is exercising in the winter because I am intimidated by the icy roads and paths (have I mentioned I am a bit of a klutz?) I do not belong to the gym, but should, so this was a really hard thing for me to do.
I put on my ski hat, my long underwear, sweats, Under Armor, and a fleece and hit the road. I ran along the beach and it was not nearly as bad as I imagined. I didn’t slip once and I did about 2 miles. This is good for me as it was the first time I ran since before Thanksgiving.
